Acoustic glass
One or more acoustic interlayers bond two or more sheets of glass together to create acoustic glass: Every pane of glass in a noise-reducing window or door is laminated with such a coating of polyvinyl butyral to help decrease noise (PVB). A layer of noise reduction and dampening is added to the glass, lowering the flexibility of the material and weakening the sound waves as they pass through the glass.
